VANKAR P is a handwoven Bhujodi Kala Cotton Dhoti & Shawl Set that brings together the textile heritage of Kutch and an effortlessly elegant festive palette.

Woven on a soft ivory base, the set is defined by muted pink and grey stripes, subtle gold-toned accents, delicate geometric motifs and handcrafted tassel detailing. The restrained colours lend the weave a contemporary softness while preserving the distinctive character of traditional Bhujodi craftsmanship.

Handwoven using indigenous kala cotton and the traditional extra-weft technique of the Vankar weavers, each detail is worked into the cloth rather than added afterwards. Naturally breathable and textured, kala cotton makes the set comfortable enough for long festive days while retaining its beautiful handloom character.

The 3-metre dhoti and 3-metre shawl can be worn as a coordinated set or styled independently. Wear the dhoti as a traditional mundu, drape the shawl over a kurta or Indian ensemble, or reinterpret both pieces as a half-saree.
