VANKAR B is a handwoven Bhujodi Kala Cotton Dhoti & Shawl Set, crafted in Bhujodi, Kutch, using indigenous kala cotton and the traditional extra-weft technique of the Vankar weavers.

The clean, natural-toned base is brought to life with raised multicolour stripes, delicate geometric motifs and playful tassels woven directly into the fabric. The textured character of kala cotton gives the set an understated, earthy elegance while keeping it light, breathable and comfortable.

Rooted in the weaving traditions of Kutch, Bhujodi textiles were traditionally made as shawls and blankets for the pastoral communities of the region. VANKAR B carries that heritage into a contemporary festive wardrobe, offering pieces that can be styled together or worn separately.

The 3-metre dhoti can be draped traditionally as a mundu with a simple shirt or kurta, while the 3-metre shawl adds colour and texture when worn over an Indian outfit. Both pieces can also be styled creatively as a half-saree.
