SHEESHA is a celebration of colour, craft and the unmistakable character of Bhujodi weaving.
Handwoven in Kutch from indigenous kala cotton, the saree comes alive through a vibrant field of multicoloured checks. Magenta, fuchsia, orange, mustard, lime, purple, navy and earthy rust meet across the body, creating a joyful patchwork of colour. Delicate sheesha mirror work scattered through the weave catches the light with every movement.
The pallu is where the craftsmanship becomes even more expressive. Traditional Bhujodi extra-weft weaving creates intricate geometric diamonds, stars, triangles and stylised motifs, interspersed with mirror detailing. Colourful handmade tassels finish the edge, adding movement and a playful artisanal touch.
An attached blouse piece continues the story with straight woven stripes and delicate glass work, allowing the complete ensemble to feel considered from drape to blouse.
Despite its richness of colour and detail, kala cotton keeps SHEESHA beautifully breathable and lightweight. Its naturally textured handloom character makes it comfortable against the skin while giving the saree an unmistakably handcrafted presence.
Bold without being heavy, playful without losing its heritage — SHEESHA is Kutch woven in full colour.
