SHAMA is a refined handloom saree that celebrates the beauty of geometry through the traditional extra-weft Jamdani weaving technique. Woven on a luminous white mercerised cotton base, the saree is defined by crisp black motifs that create a striking monochrome aesthetic.

The extra-weft motifs are formed as raised, discontinuous patterns against the clean white ground. Repeating diamonds, tiny triangles and hooked geometric forms come together in rhythmic horizontal bands, giving the saree its distinctive handcrafted character.

The border carries a continuous geometric Jamdani pattern, while the body is punctuated with beautifully spaced horizontal motif bands. The pallu extends the monochrome language with linear detailing and geometric extra-weft patterns, finished with delicate tassels.

Mercerisation lends the cotton a subtle lustre and a slightly crisp, structured drape while retaining the comfort and breathability of cotton. Minimal yet rooted in traditional weaving, SHAMA transitions beautifully from daytime occasions to understated festive dressing.
