WHAT YOU WILL RECEIVE: 1 Saree

BAANDH brings two distinctive Gujarati textile traditions together in a single saree — the rhythmic geometry of Bhujodi weaving and the intricate beauty of Bandhani.

The body comes in a rich deep maroon-wine tone, scattered with tiny white Bandhani motifs created through the traditional tie-and-dye technique. Fine white-and-maroon striped borders frame the body, adding structure to the fluid pattern of the Bandhani.

As the saree moves into the pallu, the language of the textile changes. An off-white handloom ground becomes the canvas for Bhujodi extra-weft weaving, with fine maroon stripes, geometric motifs and broad woven bands creating a striking contrast to the Bandhani body. Hand-finished maroon tassels complete the pallu with texture and movement.

Woven in kala cotton, BAANDH retains the naturally textured, slightly rustic character that makes handloom fabric so distinctive. It is lightweight and breathable, yet has enough body to hold a graceful drape without stiffness.

The result is more than a combination of techniques. It is a conversation between tie-dye and loom, pattern and geometry, Bandhani and Bhujodi — two traditions of Kutch brought together as one.

Rooted in heritage but effortless to wear — BAANDH is Gujarat woven, tied and dyed into a single drape. Happiness is handmade.
